The ideal candidate possesses a broad understanding of all major disciplines of digital marketing with a specialization in video production. Other tasks will require competency in social media marketing, social media strategies, digital graphic design, print graphic design and copy writing. The perfect candidate will be passionate about sparking connections between people and content and dedicated to building the best strategic frameworks for marketing initiatives. This is a full time position, located in Hutchinson, KS.Job Description-- 50% - Capture and produce video content for all divisions of Lowen Corporation.o The Digital Media Specialist is responsible for the conceptualization, planning, shooting and editing of professional quality videos across all Lowen divisions (Lowen Color Graphics, Lowen Sign Company, Lowen Certified, Loyal Real Estate Sign Installers and Lowen TradeSource), and distributing them across our online marketing platforms.-- 30% - Plan and execute visuals and content for Social media and Google Ads.o Knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms that have benefits in reaching our target audiences with motion graphics at the forefront.-- 10% - Graphic design for digital and print media including brochures, catalogs, & email blasts.o A design eye is a large part of being consistent in our messaging and branding. Candidate should show good judgement for visual balance and hierarchy.-- 10% ---Content writingo Ability to write and edit short and long-form content without oversight.Required Qualifications* Minimum of: Associate's degree and 2+ years relevant experience; OR a Bachelor's degree in a field related to media production, graphic design, or motion graphics.* The use of media production equipment such as digital video cameras and editing equipment, lighting equipment, audio equipment, computer software, etc.* Knowledge of the limitations and capabilities of media production equipment* Knowledge of techniques involved in writing, editing and directing media productions.* 2+ years' experience managing multiple projects and deadlines with a commitment to working in a collaborative team environment.* Excellent communication skills as demonstrated by application materials and interview process.* Exceptional organizational skills* Self-motivated with ability to spearhead projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.* Must be able to provide examples of previous digital work (examples include: video clips stored on a shared drive, a link to a personal YouTube channel or website, or e-portfolio).
