Details Department: Cardiac Cath Lab Schedule: Full-time, 10
hour day shifts x4, weekly, rotating day off. 2 nights of call
every other week, and every 6th weekend, rotating Hospital:
Ascension Via Christi, St. Francis Location: Wichita, Kansas

salary range at the time of the offer. Responsibilities Assist with
procedures to analyze, diagnose and treat the cardiovascular
system. Responsibilities: Perform active physiological monitoring
of heart rate, rhythm, pressures, and saturations. Anticipate
changes during cases that indicate necessary information, such as
catheter position. Accurately identify and communicate patient
condition changes to the physician and team. Routinely perform
patient testing and/or monitoring to include oxygen saturation,
cardiac output, shunting, hemodynamic calculations and other
intra-procedure testing and resulting as applicable. Demonstrate
knowledge and variation of procedures, including the
equipment/supplies used for performance. Demonstrate proper
handling, preparation, and maintain asepsis. Anticipate and adapt
to physician and case needs. Assist with room setup, patient
transport and post-procedure clean-up. Ensure infection control and
sharp safety procedures are followed regarding waste and reusable
products. Perform patient education regarding post-procedure
monitoring and care of catheter insertion site. Provide
instructions and information regarding activity including normal,
variant and issues requiring intervention. Requirements Licensure /
Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month
(30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American
Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of
the following required: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive
Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing
International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer
date. Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology
credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International
(CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic
Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior
to hire date or job transfer date. Licensed Radiologic Technologist
credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts must be held
concurrently. Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from
the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job
transfer date. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart
Association or American Red Cross accepted. Pediatric Advanced Life
Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross
accepted. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years
of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR
4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences Current Radiologic Technologist license in
the state of Kansas Cath Lab or EP Lab experience preferred, but
