Job Summary and Qualifications The Nurse Navigator functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team as an advocate and educator for patients from point of entry, through diagnostic studies, diagnosis and treatment plan. What qualifications you will need: Basic Cardiac Life Support through the AHA or ARC Registered Nurse, current licensure in the State of Kansas as a Registered Nurse (RN) or current Multi-State Licensure as a Registered Nurse Certificate of qualification, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner according to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act (preferred) Experience in program development (preferred) Experience as a nurse navigator and/or patient educator (preferred) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or enrolled in Bachelors’ Degree in Nursing within 6 months of hire (required) Master's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration (preferred) For more than 100 years, Wesley Healthcare has provided exceptional care to thousands of families in Wichita and throughout Kansas and Northern Oklahoma.
