Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/19/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM • Seasonal travel position on 3rd floor telemetry unit • Patient ratios of 1:6 (general telemetry) and 1:4 (Heart Cath patients) • Work with equipment including PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes • Use Meditech EMR system • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS • Perform procedures including central lines and medication drips • Provide heart catheterization recovery care and bubble studies • Must demonstrate positive attitude, independence, and strong critical thinking skills • Work alongside experienced nursing staff in collaborative environment • 37-bed telemetry unit with dedicated support staff including patient care techs and unit clerk Facility: This medical center operates a comprehensive telemetry unit providing specialized cardiac monitoring and post-procedural care services.
