Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wichita, Kansas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - Tele /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM /n• Travel assignment position /n• Work on 37-bed telemetry unit located on 3rd floor /n• Patient ratios: 1:6 general telemetry patients, 1:4 for Heart Cath patients (estimated ratios, not guaranteed) /n• Work with PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes /n• Use Meditech EMR system /n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS /n• Perform typical procedures including central lines and medication drips /n• Handle Heart Cath recovery and bubble studies /n• Must demonstrate positive attitude, independence, and strong critical thinking skills /n• Work alongside experienced nursing staff including 8 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs per night shift /n/n Facility: /n This medical center operates a comprehensive telemetry unit that specializes in cardiac monitoring and post-procedural care.
