specialized step-down unit focused on cardiac care. This contract
opportunity is ideal for experienced registered nurses skilled in
managing complex cardiac patients in a fast-paced environment. The
unit features a 1:2 patient ratio and advanced technology, offering
a dynamic and supportive setting for professional growth. Location:
Wichita, KS Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to
step-down cardiac patients, including those requiring balloon
pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia therapy Monitor and manage patients
with heart caths, cardioversion, central lines, and medication
drips Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop
and implement individualized care plans Maintain precise
documentation using Meditech EMR systems Uphold unit policies and
procedures to ensure patient safety and quality care
Qualifications: Valid RN licensure with experience in step-down or
cardiac care units Current BLS and ACLS certification required NIH
certification preferred Demonstrated ability to manage complex
cardiac patients with advanced equipment Strong organizational
skills with a positive and engaged attitude Schedule: Night shifts,
7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Unit Highlights: 26-bed cardiac step-down unit
