Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Salina, KS Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,122 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1.5 years required License: State license required at the time of submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Meditech experience required - Travel experience required - Charge experience preferred Description: Meditech experience is required with no exceptions. Travel experience is required with no exceptions. The start date is ASAP. Shifts are 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00. Weekends are required every other weekend. A state license is required at the time of submission. The following certifications are required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC. The candidate must have at least 1.5 years of experience. Skills required include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation, and administration of IV vasopressors. Candidates should be familiar with CPAP/BiPAP, interpretation of arterial blood gases, care of ventilated patients, isolation precautions, and triage. The patient ratio is 1:4. Unit scrub color is navy blue. Previous employees will not be considered. The patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The daily census is around 90, with approximately 92 visits per day. The unit has 25 rooms and 29 beds. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. Patient diagnoses include stroke, chest pain, and various trauma cases. Special procedures in the unit include the insertion of arterial lines and central lines, as well as assisting with thoracentesis, paracentesis, and other critical care interventions. Knowledge of critical drips is essential. Candidates will assist with EKGs and TNK administration. Local candidates will not be accepted. References are required. A 100-mile radius rule applies.
