position available on a Medical Surgical unit. The unit has 26 beds
and a staff of 36. Patient ratios are estimated at 1:5. The team
consists of a Charge Nurse, RNs, Patient Care Techs, and a Unit
Clerk. Common equipment includes lifts, wheelchairs, gait belts,
walkers/canes, and EMR. This position involves caring for patients
undergoing procedures such as TURPs, gastric bypass, joint
replacements, post-hysterectomy, and gallbladders/appendectomies.
