Job Title: RN - Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: RN License Required Certifications: Relevant Certifications Preferred Must-Have: Labor and delivery experience of at least 2 years Ability to circulate C-sections Description: We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses specializing in Labor and Delivery. The unit has 26 beds and a dedicated team of staff. The day shift consists of one Charge Nurse, 14 nurses, and additional support staff. Customer ratios include 1:1 for high-risk labor and C-sections, and 1:2 for antepartum and other scenarios. The unit is equipped with Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, telemetry systems, and monitors. Electronic Medical Records are managed using CPN gold and Meditech platforms. Candidates should have labor and delivery experience, with a strong emphasis on circulating C-sections. Experience with high-risk labor and delivery is preferred. Typical procedures performed include C-sections, inductions, and monitoring protocols. Self-scheduling is available, contributing to staff satisfaction. The nursing team has many members with extensive experience, enhancing the quality of care provided.
