Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled RN-Intermediate
Care to join our faith-based healthcare organization. In this role,
you will be integral in providing advanced nursing care in an
intermediate care environment, aimed at patients who require a high
level of monitoring and frequent assessment, but who are not in
critical condition. This position is pivotal in executing our
mission to transform healthcare through innovative and personalized
care, in alignment with our ethos of compassion and service. Assess
and monitor patient condition, initiate patient care plans and
evaluate outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to
ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired
patient outcomes. Administer medications and treatments as
prescribed and monitor responses. Educate patients and families on
health care needs, conditions, and options. Document patient care
services by charting in patient and department records. Ensure
operation of medical and administrative equipment by verifying
emergency equipment availability, completing preventive maintenance
requirements, and requesting repairs. Advanced Cardiac Life Support
(ACLS) Flexibility in handling different types of patients and
health situations Ability to operate complex medical machinery
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Medical

Registered Nurse (RN) licensed Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
certification preferred BLS Certification
