Role:Full-time BC/BE Neonatologist position available8-physician
practiceCombination of 8 and 24-hour shifts on 7-week rotating
schedule. 1.0 FTE does approximately 170 hours per month of
in-house coverageNeonatologists provide in-house call and backup
call from homeLevel-III, 60-bed NICU6,000 deliveries each year at
the hospitalThe intensive and special care units average around
1,000 admissions annually, with an average daily census of 54All
services except ECMO and heart surgerySupported by residents and
nurse practitionersAffiliated with KU School of Medicine – Wichita,
offers extensive QI and research opportunitiesOpen to new Fellow
