a reality for their members.About the Role:As a Technical Support
Specialist, you will provide frontline IT support for our staff in
order to support of our day-to-day operations.Who You Are:You are
an experienced IT professional; dedicated to providing support for
your internal customers. You are a problem solver; passionate about
working in an organization that values timely service. You work
well either independently or collaborating with a team. What You
Will Do:You will familiarize yourself with all information
technology tools used by a staff that works both on-site and
remotely. And you will provide support for the use of those tools.
Ensure workstation continuity for all system usersPerform
preventative maintenance on workstationsTroubleshoot, repair, and
install approved software and hardwareSet up new workstations and
train staff on usageBe on-call for time periods as assigned by
supervisorProvide technical assistance and advice to
usersProactively recommend ways to improve computer and phone
capabilitiesMaintain detailed log and documentation of
equipmentTreat people fairly, consistently, and with respectPerform
all other duties as assigned by supervisorWhat You Bring:This tech
position requires the following education, experience, skills, and
abilities:Associates degree or equivalent experienceExperience in
IT help desk dutiesEffective communication skills (both oral and
written)Self-starter with strong organizational and time management
skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with
demanding timeframes.High attention to detail, understanding the
importance of top-quality customer service with a professional
attitudeExperience with setup, maintenance, and use of multiple
computers, phone and mobile devices and operating systemsAbility to
quickly learn technologies and skillsExcellent analytical
skillsWillingness to be open, to learn and to take on new
