Planner Location: Wichita, KS 67202 Duration: 5 Months 1/26/2026 to
5/26/2026 Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30-4:30 PM OR 8:00-5:00
PM Position Description: This role is responsible for planning day
to day Packaged Truck deliveries for the Salt business unit.
Responsibilities include: • Carrier utilization and scheduling,
cost and service reporting and communication with external and
internal stakeholders. • Works with Sales and Supply Chain groups
to understand requirements and make best value delivery decisions
to support customer requirements. • Supports the sourcing strategy
by tendering and managing orders in SAP with tiered carrier
rankings. • Responsible for day-to-day management of orders from an
assigned set of plants and public warehouses. • Includes building
loads, monitoring of unrouted orders, coordinating ship and
delivery dates, handling customer add-ons and broken or changed
loads and logging and approving carrier invoiced costs. Typical
requirements include a degree in logistics, transportation,
business or a related field and 2 or more years of experience or 4
years of experience. Must complete background check only.
