US Army - Wichita-Hutchinson Plus - Cable Systems Installer-Maintainer- US Army Enlistment RequiredEnlist as a soldier into the United States Army and become a certified Cable Systems Installer-Maintainer responsible for the cable/wire communications systems, communication security devices and other associated equipment. This is NOT a civilian contractor position. - -

No experience necessary. Position is entry-level. Minimum requirements can vary from 2-6 years of training for certification, depending on the role. All candidates are able to choose their terms of service when selecting their job prior to signing a contract.
JOB DUTIES

Perform test on cable communications systems and circuit groups
Operate manual and motorized cable construction equipment
Install and repair circuits and wiring
Maintenance on power generators

PAID TRAINING

- - - - - - - 8 weeks of Technical School with on-the-job instructions.

ORGANIZATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

- - - - - - - No felonies. (Defer Adjudication included).

- - - - - - - Meet physical standards based on gender and age.
- - - - - - - Pass the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test.
